A native Nashvillian and MTSU alumna, Jacqueline Springfield  returned to the Middle Tennessee area after two years of touring with Metro Theater Company based in St. Louis, MO. During her time with Metro, she performed and taught creative drama workshops in schools and theatres across the nation. Prior to that, she spent three years at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro earning her Master of Fine Arts degree in acting. While at UNCG, she founded the Alliance for Students of Color, a student-centered organization that focused on producing the works of playwrights of color. Since returning to Middle Tennessee, Jacqueline has taught several courses at MTSU and still continues to perform as an actor in local, regional and national projects.
