Early Redesign
The charts below indicate the course development and redesign fees paid based on the work completed and contract requirements met.
A pay instrument is generated to compensate course designers when the course has been approved by the department chair/school director. Payment is usually received within eight (8) weeks of course approval.
MTSU Online and Hybrid Course Development Fees

| Adding Graduate content for existing online and hybrid courses | $500 |
If a substantial redesign of an existing online or hybrid course is necessary prior to contract expiration (contracts run for three years) due to textbook changes or other extenuating circumstances, course designers can receive, with prior approval from Distance Education Faculty Services, the $1,000 redesign fee if a new contract is signed. Written requests for early redesign may be made to cindy.adams@mtsu.edu.
