B.S. in Professional Studies

The Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies, prepares students for management positions in the fields of either information technology, healthcare administration, or business communications. The major consist of foundation courses in communications, statistics, supervision, organizational systems, organizational relations, and international context.

The professional studies degree is offered in the following concentrations:

Healthcare Administration

This concentration focuses on courses in healthcare research, nursing leadership management, trends and issues in nursing healthcare, community health nursing and international health.

Information Technology

This concentration focuses on courses in software analysis, database management, data communications, and operating systems.

International Organizational Leadership

This concentration focuses on courses in international management, international law, political economy, intercultural communication and international relations.

Organizational Leadership

This concentration focuses on courses in public relations, psychology, business etiquette, human resources, and cultural diversity.

Please Note: Each concentration consists of 21 hours of core requirements and 18 hours directly related to your chosen concentration.
