The Distance Learning Test Center, located in Kirksey Old Main (KOM), Room 126, provides exam services for MTSU students taking distance learning courses including correspondence, online, hybrid and RODP courses. If a student is unable to attend his or her scheduled class exam due to extenuating circumstances, we will be happy to allow the student to take the exam in our testing center at an alternate date and/or time. The Test Center operates on limited hours and is staffed only part time. Early scheduling is encouraged. Testing is by appointment only and picture identification is required. No cell phones will be permitted in the Test Center. A locker is available for personal items.
All exams scheduled through the Distance Learning Test Center must be completed prior to the scheduled on-campus class exam. Late testing must be approved prior to scheduling an exam.
Refer to Course Syllabus for exam dates and times
(only students registered through MTSU)
If you are enrolled in a RODP course through a different institution but want to
take the exam at MTSU, please contact Counseling Services Testing Office at (615)
