Adult Degree Completion Program (ADCP) -- The Adult Degree Completion Program is designed for working adults who want to finish their degree and get ahead in their career. This program is customized for you to fit your particular needs, interests and schedule. learn more
Online General Education Courses -- All MTSU degree programs require a minimum of 41 hours of general education courses. Some majors require specific general education courses. Review these online general education courses to see if they meet the requirements for your major.

Hybrid Degree Programs -- Earn your Bachelor's degree through a mixture of online and on-ground experiences. Hybrid degree programs consist of a combination of online and on-ground courses; some on-ground courses might possess online components. The number of on-ground courses will vary depending upon the individual program requirements. Our hybrid degree programs provide you with a flexible course schedule that works around your life, but also provides an opportunity for you to meet with MTSU faculty and your peers in a face-to-face experience.
Online Minors -- We have several minors that you can earn completely online and some that include correspondence courses. The advisor of your major can let you know which minors will work in your degree plan. learn more
Degree Advancement Program -- Our degree advancement program allows students who earn an Associate of Applied Science (in participating schools) to transfer credits to MTSU towards completion of a Bachelor's of Science degree. learn more
Teacher Education Programs -- This program is designed for current and future educators. If you are interested in teaching, this program is designed for you to earn your Alternative I or II Teacher Licensure. learn more
Early College Program -- This program gives high school students the opportunity to earn college credit in their own school. MTSU offers dual enrollment and dual credit courses to qualified high school juniors and seniors. learn more
Off Campus Programs --Our off campus programs offers undergraduate courses at several remote locations within the Middle Tennessee region. In off-campus courses, students meet face-to-face with an MTSU instructor without having to physically be on MTSU's campus. Evening School -- MTSU offers several degrees in the evening for students who cannot access the campus during the day. Evening classes begin after 4:30 pm. Evening courses follow the regular Academic Calendar and Tuition and Fees Schedule. learn more
Correspondence Courses -- Correspondence courses involve individual, independent instruction of a student by an instructor on a one-to-one basis. Typically, this will entail study at home, as well as the exchange of materials and evaluations through a mail/courier service. learn more
Bachelor of University Studies (BUS) Degree Program -- The Bachelor of University Studies degree is an alternative, four-year degree for students choosing to pursue a broad-based educational experience. This program offers flexible course scheduling and may be particularly appropriate for students with prior credits that can be applied to a four-year degree. learn more
