Off Campus Degree Programs

Bachelor of Science in Teaching (B.S.), Interdisciplinary Studies K-6th Emphasis
The 2+2 program is offered through the College of Education at the Columbia State Community College campus. Students take freshman and sophomore level courses through CSCC. After being admitted to MTSU, students enroll in junior and senior level courses which are held on the CSCC campus. Students may complete their practicum and student teaching at a school in the Columbia area. More information about the program is available through the 2+2 website in the College of Education.

Master of Science in Teaching (MST), Mathematics Concentration
Courses toward the MST Mathematics concentration are offered at Columbia State Community College in Columbia, TN. Information about the MST can be found on the Mathematics Department MST Page.

Master of Science in Professional Science (MSPS), Biostatistics Concentration
Courses toward the Biostatistics concentration of the MSPS are offered at Blue Cross Blue Shield of TN in Chattanooga, TN. Information about the MSPS can be found on the MSPS Page.

Master of Education (M.Ed.), Curriculum and Instruction Concentration
Courses for the M.Ed. are offered through the Department of Educational Leadership at the following off-campus sites:

Master of Education (M.Ed.), Off-Campus Leadership Academy
Highly recommended for K-12 Tennessee Administrator Licensure educators (requires endorsement from principal), this 33-hour cohort degree program provides educators with the necessary skills needed to effectively instruct and lead within their school system. Courses for this M.Ed. are offered through the Department of Educational Leadership.
