- University service: I have served on the Faculty Senate for several terms, including as Faculty Senate President, 2002-03.
- Service to professional organizations: I have been active in the Tennessee Association for Student Success and Retention (formerly TNADE) for 22 years, having served as President of that organization 2006-07.
