I am currently working on posting all overhead transparencies to the web.
Describe your teaching style:
It is always evolving. I'll use group work and board work sometimes and lately I
have been trying to integrate the internet.
What do you like most about teaching?
I like trying to create a learning environment where students want to learn. Learning
is more than just gathering information. Learning is when you consciously entertain
an idea, you get emotionally involved in the idea, you step out and act on the idea
to improve the results of some area of your life. I love watching students becoming
involved in the learning of mathematics.
What do you like least most about teaching?
Having to give a student an F who has tried all semester.
What do you expect from your students?
Nothing but the best. A positive attitude. Patience.
What should they expect from you?
I will be very patient. I will work with them as long as it takes for them to get
the concepts down.
Areas of interest outside the classroom:
Church, snow skiing, racquetball, health and nutrition, The X-files
