"The times, they are a-changin,'" and one result is that traditional aged college students can appear less mature and prepared for college, a change which certainly affects instructional design and influences effective pedagogy. This workshop will use Jeffrey Arnett's research into Emerging Adulthood and similar developments in neurobiology as a foundation for understanding the developmental place of students as they enter college, and will explore the implications that these developments have for teaching college students. ​
