What's Going On
in the Episcopal Church

Please Help Support
This Ministry!

It takes a lot of time, energy and commitment to bring this ministry to students and faculty at MTSU. The Compass Ministry Team relies on students and volunteers who can cheerfully give of their talent, time and treasure to help provide opportunities for fellowship, learning and growth in the context of Christian community. There are several areas where you can help:

Prayer
Prayer support is vital to the health of our community. Please pray for our endeavors and for your part in Compass.

Food
Ellen Gassler coordinates the meal we serve to students following our Sunday morning services. She is always looking for folks who are willing to come and cook. Send her an email if you'd like to help.

Funds
Unlike parishioners in a congregation, students find themselves unequipped to offer the significant financial support that it takes to run a ministry such as this. At this time, we are primarily supported by the Diocese of Tennessee and by St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Murfreesboro.

We are excited about our future, and we're working to make sure that this campus ministry is prepared financially for the future. If you are interested in offering your support, please contact Fr. Matt Greathouse, our Chaplain. Also, if you attend a middle-Tennessee Episcopal Congregation, please consider encouraging your Vestry to support us with percentage of your congregation's outreach budget.

Thank you and God bless!
