The Department of Institutional Equity and Compliance (IE&C) at Middle Tennessee State University was established in July 2005. Offices within IE&C that serve as vital components of the department include the Office of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action (EO/AA), established in 1975, and the Office of Training and Educational Services (OTES), established in July 2005.

The Institutional Equity & Compliance department is located in room 220 of the Cope Administration Building on the MTSU campus. Regular office hours are 8:00-4:30 Monday through Friday.
