Tennessee Archaeology
A New Electronic Format Print Journal

Pursuant to discussions at the 2003 and 2004 annual meetings on Current Research in Tennessee Archaeology, a new publication outlet for archaeology in Tennessee has been created. The new journal Tennessee Archaeology is produced in full-color in Adobe PDF format and provided on-line as a electronic format print journal.

The journal is a fully peer-reviewed enterprise, sponsored by the Tennessee Council for Professional Archaeology and supported by a professional review board consisting of archaeologists throughout the state.

The following issues are now available:

Volume 1, Issue 1 (Posting date of August 13, 2004).

Volume 1, Issue 2 (Posting date of June 16, 2005).

Volume 2, Issue 1 (Posting date of February 13, 2006).

Volume 2, Issue 2 (Posting date of November 7, 2006).

Volume 3, Issue 1 [Posting date of May 8, 2008].

The Editorial Coordinators are now soliciting articles and research reports for Volume 3, Number 2 -- with a projected electronic publication date of Fall 2008.

Please review the draft Editorial, Procedural, and Stylistic Policy Guide (links to the left). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Editorial Coordinators.
