The purpose of the McNair Challenger Alliance is to promote and recognize pursuit of postbaccalaureate education by low-income, first-generation college students and students from underrepresented groups. MCA promotes mentoring of students through the office of Student Support Services and it promotes attendance and active participation of members in educational conferences in their respective fields of study.
