Nathan "Adan" Adam, Associate Chair in the Department of Recording Industry, graduated Summa Cum Laude with his B.B.A. and M.B.A from Pittsburg State University. With a background in both educational and recording technology, he has worked as a freelance recording engineer and studio technology consultant for a number of recording artists and studios including Caravell Recording Studios, Hall of Fame Studios, Digital Planet and even the Hit Factory.

While working as a Sales Engineer/Consultant for Sweetwater Sound, he equipped Pro Tools studios for recording artists such as Kid Rock, the Insane Clown Posse, Semisonic, Dennis Jernigan, and producers for artists including Reliant K, Sugar Ray, and Creed. He is Pro Tools Level 3 certified and has won several awards for his developments in educational technology for Recording Industry students.

Nathan is co-producer and author (along with multi-platinum recording engineer Brady Barnett) of the Focal Press book/DVD, "Multi-Platinum Pro Tools".

In addition, he has been featured as a guest audio recording expert on MSNBC's Tonight with Deborah Norville, and been published in Pro Sound News.

He lives in a log home in the country with his gorgeous wife Jamie, and their chinchillas, Bebe and Nips
