Notes for the Production & Technology concentration:

Even though RIM 1230 Musicianship for Engineers is not required for candidacy, it should be taken before candidacy since it is a prerequisite for sub-core courses required for the Production & Technology concentration.

If a student takes MUTH 1110 Music Theory (required for a music minor), he or she does not take RIM 1230 Musicianship for Engineers. However, that student is required to take 3 additional hours of Production & Technology electives (total of 18 hours rather than 15 hours).
