Matt Grosland split his Bachelor of Arts in
Music between Concordia
College-Moorhead and St. Olaf College in Minnesota, receiving
his degree
from Concordia in 1996, where he was one of 4 winners of the annual
Concerto Competition. He received his Masters of Fine Arts in
Percussion
performance from Carnegie-Mellon University in 2001, where he
studied with Tim Adams of the Pittsburgh Symphony. He was also
the Principal Timpanist of the Butler Symphony for 3 years.
Matt has 5 years of system administration experience
from Carnegie-Mellon University's School of Computer Science and
the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, specializing
in both Apple and Windows operating systems as well as backup
administration. He also holds Microsoft's MCP certification for
Windows 2000 Server.
