Residential Computing

In an effort to produce computer saavy graduates, MTSU's housing department has made many computing resources available to residents. There is a network connection in every dorm room, in addtion to computing facilites in 6 residential locations.

Getting Connected to the Network

Before connecting to the network be sure to read and become familiar with MTSU's Information Technology Resources Policy, along with these other important policies. Connecting to the campus network is easy to do. For most computers it's as easy as connecting one cable. Detailed instructions are available here. For additional asistance with networking or other computer issues, contact the ResNet help desk, a free service for dorm residents.

Computer Labs

Housing and Residental Life maintains computer labs at 6 residential locations. All labs are equipped with computers with Intel Pentium 4 processors and HP laser printers. In addition some labs have scanners, and some computers have extended multimedia capabilities. See the individual lab pages for more details.
