Book RepairDamaged books are brought to Collection Management, where Pauline Fraley makes minor repairs. When a book cannot be repaired it is either sent to the bindery or withdrawn from the collection. When possible and relevant, a new replacement edition is ordered for the library collection. For repairs to a personal copy of a book, Gaylord Partnership Services provides free assistance with the complex and highly technical task of preserving your collections, books, manuscripts, photographs, artifacts and multimedia. Call independent conservator Nancy Carlson Schrock, Thursdays and Fridays, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, at 1-800-428-3631, for free advice about all your preservation and conservation questions.
