wpe17.jpg (10020 bytes)As the summer draws to an end, we can all anticipate a new school year with much excitement and anticipation.  This certainly includes our Sigma Theta Tau chapter.  The Board of Directors has met and is developing plans for what promises to be a most productive year.

One area of expectation is the upcoming biennial convention in Indianapolis in November.  Plans are under way to have as many of our members be in attendance as possible.  More details will be discussed in general chapter meeting.  Our chapter has submitted credentials for the Chapter Key Award much to the efforts of Lynn Parsons.  Needless to say, we are most hopeful that we will be successful and receive the award at the convention.  Many other activities are in the planning stages (see the Calendar of Events on page 2).

Every member is a necessary part of our chapter and we look forward to seeing each one in the events planned for this year.  As you have suggestions and input, please contact anyone on the Board of Directors.  With the strengths and attributes of our members our chapter can accomplish great things but not without the contributions of all.
