MTSU Advising social and network opportunities. This can include Brown Bag lunches, Mentorships, Social Hour, Potlucks, etc. 

Connects will be offered once a month, and will generally be worth 1/2 point (unless otherwise stated).

The Advisor Training Committee brings you Power of One & Bystander Training. This targeted training coincides with Sexual Responsibility & Consent Week to ensure our advisors understand the growing role Power of One plays on our campus. In this session, we will have three facilitators: Power of ONE grant coordinator Kelly Hill will offer advisors a condensed version of the student Bystander Intervention course and information about how the Power of One can support your advisees. Sexual Assault Advocate Amy Dean and Sexual Assault Investigator Jon Fehlman will also be present to discuss their roles and help you to understand resources available to MTSU students so that you can more confidently make referrals.
