Agriculture Ambassadors

Membership consists of two elected class representatives and the President and a representative from each of the student organizations. Serves as a liaison between students and faculty. Alpha Gamma Rho

A social-professional fraternity. Recognize annual outstanding Agriculture teacher at MTSU. Sponsor Scholarship Program. 

 

Block & Bridle Club

Open to any college student with an interest in agricultural animals. Involved in several activities at the Tennessee Livestock Center. Support travel and activities of the Academic Quadrathlon team and Livestock Judging Team. Conduct a Preview Steer & Heifer Show annually. Active at the National Level. Dairy Science Club

Activities are designed to help students become involved in the Dairy Industry.  Club members assist with farm tours and support the Dairy Challenge team. For more information, contact maegan.hollis@mtsu.edu.

Delta Tau Alpha

An honorary student organization. Conduct student recruitment programs in high schools. Honors outstanding freshmen. Promote the School of Agriculture. Sponsors a needy child/children at Christmas. Active at the National level. For more information, contact tony.johnston@mtsu.edu.

Collegiate FFA

Assist in conducting clinics and workshops for Agricultural Education teachers. Work closely with local high school Agricultural Education programs. Assist in many high school FFA leadership and skill activities. For more information, contact chaney.mosley@mtsu.edu.

Horseman's Association

Conduct programs for students interested in horse science. Support MTSU Equestrian Team and Horse Judging Team. Conduct horse science clinics and seminars for riders. For more information, contact rhonda.hoffman@mtsu.edu.

Plant and Soil Club

Schedule speakers who relate to career areas in Plant and Soil Science. Promote Plant and Soil Science activities. For more information, contact nate.phillip@mtsu.edu.

Pre-Veterinary Medical Society

A professional organization for students interested in veterinary medicine and planning to pursue admissions to a college of veterinary medicine. Active in community outreach and service to the veterinary profession in middle Tennessee. john.haffner@mtsu.edu.

Sigma Alpha
