The Blue Raider Battalion has several three and four year scholarships we are looking to award to qualified applicants who will begin at MTSU this Fall.  Applicants must apply this summer prior to school beginning.  If you are interested in competing for one of these scholarships then download our scholarship application and contact us immediately.

ELIGIBILITY

• Eligible to enlist in the TN Army National Guard
• US Citizen
• Between the ages of 17-26
• Medically qualified
• Meet Army physical fitness and body composition requirements
• Officially accepted to MTSU
• Minimum 2.5 HS GPA

Scholarship Requirements

• Maintain a 2.0 GPA in college
• Participate in the Simultaneous Membership Program with a local Army National Guard or Reserve unit while in college.
• Once commissioned, 8-year part-time service obligation actively drilling with designated unit.

Tennessee Army National Guard Minuteman Scholarship

If you are interested in pursuing a civilian career after college, while simultaneously serving in the Tennessee Army National Guard on a part-time basis, then consider competing for a National Guard Minuteman Scholarship.  These scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen or those students with four years remaining in college.

Benefits

• Full Tuition/Fees or Room/Board ($10K per year)
• $1200 a year book stipend
• ROTC Cadet stipend each month $420
• Earn $329/mo drill pay upon contracting
• CH 30/33 Education benefits (if eligible)
• TN S.T.R.O.N.G. (Full Tuition Assistance) Eligibility

US Army Reserve Minuteman Scholarship

If you are interested in pursuing a civilian career after college, while simultaneously serving our Nation anywhere in the Continental United States on a part-time basis, then consider competing for a US Army Reserve Minuteman Scholarship.  These scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen or those students with four years remaining in college.
