Business Minors & Certificates
The following Jones College business minors and certificates are available for both
business majors and non-business majors (limit one business minor per student). To
choose the correct minor sheet below, select the link that corresponds with your catalog

Business Minors for Business Majors
Business majors seeking to choose a different business minor other than the minor
incorporated into their degree program should schedule an appointment with an academic
advisor in the Jones College Advising Center as doing so may add credit hours to their
program.
Business Minors for Non-Business Majors
Non-Business majors desiring to minor in business may enroll in 3000-4000 level Jones
College courses under the following conditions: must attain junior standing, achieve
an inclusive 2.00 GPA, meet course-specific prerequisites and obtain permission from
the Dean's office. To obtain this permission, fill out the Application to take courses in Jones College of Business and return it to the Jones College Advising Center, BAS N216.
Certificates
Certificate programs are short term academic programs in which students gain understanding
in an area of interest. These programs are ideal for a non-degree-seeking individual
who would like to use the program for career development. Contact the listed program
advisor for policies, procedures, and any questions.
