JCBSurvey Qualtrics accounts are only for Jones College of Business faculty, staff and students. If you are NOT part of the Jones College of Business, please use the\u00a0htpps:\/\/mtsu.qualtrics.com<\/a>\u00a0link to access MTSU’s version of Qualtrics. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Qualtrics is an online survey management system that allows the creation and deployment of online surveys.  To create surveys, faculty must create an account using the instructions outlined in our Quick Start Guide<\/a> [PDF]. Alternatively, faculty members can request that JCB.ITS manages their surveys.  The information below outlines the procedures to initiate that service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to create a Qualtrics Account (* business students, faculty & staff only)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To create an account in our Qualtrics survey service, follow the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to jcbsurvey.qualtrics.com<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on the “Don’t have an account?<\/strong>” link.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Register with your MTSU email address<\/strong> – no code required – and click on “Sign me up<\/strong>“.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. You will receive a confirmation email. Follow the instructions in the email to confirm your account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Once the email confirmation is processed, the system administrator will approve it and you will gain full access to the site.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    How to collaborate in a survey?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    To share a survey, follow the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. The owner of the survey must log in to Qualtrics,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. On the list of Projects<\/strong>, click on the three dots on the right side \u201c\u2026<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click on Collaborate<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Enter the email of the person to share with
      <\/strong>Qualtrics will send an email to the collaborator.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Select what you want the user to do: Edit, View Reports, Activate or Close, Copy <\/strong>or Distribute.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Click on Save<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. Done<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      The \u201ccollaborator\u201d will receive an email from Qualtrics with important information. The collaborator must log in to his\/her Qualtrics instance, click on Projects<\/strong>, and click on Enter Collaboration Code <\/strong>(on the top right corner of the web page.) <\/strong>The collaboration code is on the Qualtrics email the user received. After this, the survey will appear on the list of surveys under \u201cShared with me<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
