ONGOING EVENT: mtsYOU Challenge

2018-19 School Year
Join us in the exploration of the 8 dimensions of you! 

This program will challenge you to grow in 8 areas of life through a series of monthly challenges. Your goal is to complete at least ONE activity each month and track your involvement by filling out the form below. At the end of each month in which you participate, you will be entered to win awesome prizes! Complete all 8 challenges and automatically be entered to win the grand prize at the end of the Spring 2019 semester!

Location: MTSU campus

February: Emotional Wellness: coping effectively with life and creating satisfying relationships

  • Complete a confidential screening on Counseling Services’ website
  • Book a health coaching appointment with MTSU Health Services
  • Volunteer at a local food/animal shelter
  • Attend one of the Health Promotions info tables or workshops in the Student Union Lobby the week of Feb. 11.

MTSU Fitness Combine

Ever wanted to compete like the athletes in the NFL Combine? Now you can!

Join us for the first ever MTSU Fitness Combine where you will compete in a variety of physical fitness tests that will challenge your speed, power, agility, balance, coordination, reaction time, and endurance.

All levels of fitness are welcome to join in on this FREE event, so sign up today before spots fill up.

MT Sprint Triathlon

April 14, 2019
Start Time: 7:30 am

Join MTSU Campus Recreation and Endure Athletics in a race to support homeless children right here in Rutherford County. Proceeds from this race will go to Endure Athletics and their mission to end childhood homelessness by breaking their cycle of generational poverty through relationships and mentorships.

This is an event unlike any other in the area with an unique 300-yard pool swim, a 10-mile bike ride, and finish with a 5K through MTSU's beautiful campus. This event is perfect for seasoned athletes who are training for an upcoming triathlon or for those who want the personal challenge of completing their first triathlon.

If you prefer to only compete in one of the three events, we invite you to enter under our team division. Teams of comprised of three people (one person for each event) and must enter under a team name. The teams may be comprised of male, female or co-ed participants.

If you are a student, you can receive $5 off the individual price. You must present a valid ID the day of the race or you will be charged the full amount.
