ONGOING EVENT: mtsYOU Challenge
2018-19 School Year
Join us in the exploration of the 8 dimensions of you!
This program will challenge you to grow in 8 areas of life through a series of monthly challenges. Your goal is to complete at least ONE activity each month and track your involvement by filling out the form below. At the end of each month in which you participate, you will be entered to win awesome prizes! Complete all 8 challenges and automatically be entered to win the grand prize at the end of the Spring 2019 semester!
Location: MTSU campus
November: Environmental Wellness. Occupying pleasant, stimulating environments that support well-being.
- Join Middle Tennessee Outdoor Pursuits (MTOP) for a day hike to Cloudland Canyon on November 11.
- Come caving with MTOP to Howard's Cave on November 17
- Participate in a community clean-up event
- Stop by the MTOP Outdoor Equipment Rental Center: MTRF 1-6pm
- Take recyclables to a local recycling center
- Visit a local nature conservancy or walking trail
- Choose an environmentally friendly mode of transportation to work or school (walking, bike riding, skateboarding, etc.)
- Pick up litter around campus
Group Fitness Bingo Challenge
November 5 - December 8, 2018
FREE for All-Access Pass Holders, $2/class for non-pass holders.
Participate in our Group Fitness BINGO Challenge nd be entered to win a FREE All-Access Pass for Spring 2019 or a fitness prize pack! For each BINGO completed, your name will be entered into the drawing. To participate, ask your instructor for a BINGO card (starting Nov 5) and get a sticker on your board for each class you attend. You may turn in your completed card to your instructor or the main office at any point. Get as many BINGOs as you choose! Our final collection of cards will be December 10 with our drawing taking place on December 11.
MT Sprint Triathlon

Start Time: 7:30 am
Join MTSU Campus Recreation and Endure Athletics in a race to support homeless children right here in Rutherford County. Proceeds from this race will go to Endure Athletics and their mission to end childhood homelessness by breaking their cycle of generational poverty through relationships and mentorships.
This is an event unlike any other in the area with an unique 300-yard pool swim, a 10-mile bike ride, and finish with a 5K through MTSU's beautiful campus. This event is perfect for seasoned athletes who are training for an upcoming triathlon or for those who want the personal challenge of completing their first triathlon.
If you prefer to only compete in one of the three events, we invite you to enter under our team division. Teams of comprised of three people (one person for each event) and must enter under a team name. The teams may be comprised of male, female or co-ed participants.
If you are a student, you can receive $5 off the individual price. You must present a valid ID the day of the race or you will be charged the full amount.
