Certified lifeguards are critical to a safe aquatic environment, and we take great pride in training our aquatic staff at Campus Recreation. If you have been a lifeguard or want to train to become one, read this important information, follow the directions below, and apply today!

Lifeguarding at the Rec

Position Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old
- Hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
- Not certified? Register for one of our upcoming certification classes (applicant covers certification cost)
How to Apply
Submit an application with applicable experience, accomplishments (work-related or school-related), and current certifications. Upon submission of documents, contact the Aquatics Coordinator to set up an appointment time for the facility lifeguard skills test.
