Registration

Registration will open on June 1st. For now, please complete the Interest Form (click or use the button below), and the registration link will be sent once it opens.

Description

Fresh to MTSU and interested in fitness & wellness? Open to all Freshman/First-Year students, this 8-week program covers it all!

Great for those who played sports in high school and are looking to maintain a structured fitness routine all the way to those who have no experience in a gym.

We have trainers that share all types of fitness backgrounds and experiences, and we pride ourselves on creating welcoming programs for everyone!

Fitness

Weekly Training Sessions

  • Designed for all levels and abilities
  • You will meet for 1 hour every week at the Rec Center and focus on a different workout format each week
    • Day/time you meet will be scheduled based on your availability provided at registration
  • Groups will be 4-6 people and you can request to be in a group with friends
  • There will be no sessions the week of Fall Break
Nutrition

Nutrition Education 1:1 Session

  • Meet with experienced Nutrition Team Member to learn about nutrition basics and ask questions
  • For questions beyond their knowledge, they will connect you with the free Registered Dietitian on campus

Cooking Demonstrations

  • You will be able to pick from a variety of menu options in advance
  • Dietary needs will be collected ahead of time to make sure everyone can enjoy
  • Days/times to be announce in June
Wellness

8 Dimensions of Wellness & Resources

  • Learn about the 8 dimensions of wellness & wellness programming happening on Campus
  • Receive information for wellness resources on- and off-campus related to each dimension
