The Commission has begun studying the QEP requirement while undertaking a scheduled review of the Principles of Accreditation. With this change, MTSU is not required to submit a QEP, and a QEP will not be part of the on-site review for reaffirmation in March 2026. Thank you to everyone who participated in the QEP process. Although Career EDGE will not be implemented as a QEP, a transition team will propose action steps to enhance career readiness services for implementation of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/strategicplan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Strategic Plan 2035<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MTSU continues to sustain its two previous Quality Enhancement Plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/exl\/\">Experiential Learning<\/a>\u00a0(2006)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/engage\/\">Engage<\/a>\u00a0(2016)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SACSCOC recently announced an important change in the accreditation process regarding the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) requirement for institutions.
