MTSU Online Counseling Services

The MTSU Center for Counseling and Psychological Services is pleased to provide online counseling services to MTSU distance education students.  In order to be eligible for services, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Be currently enrolled in a minimum of one (1) distance education course at MTSU
  • Demonstrate a need for distance counseling (depending on location and access to on-campus services)
  • Have the required technology (e.g., computer, web cam, headphones, microphone)

MTSU Online Counseling is only available during Fall and Spring semesters. Please check back soon.

Once your request has been received, the Center staff will review to determine if the eligibility requirements are met.   If all the criteria are met and you eligible to receive services, you will be contacted by a staff member to arrange an intake session.  If you do not meet all of the eligibility criteria, you will be contacted by a staff member to identify and /or provide resources available for you.

Note: Services may not be available to students who live outside Tennessee.  Staff will review the state and determine any limitations on distance counseling services.
