Our goal is to promote successful transitions for undergraduates who wish to pursue licensure tracks in early childhood, elementary, middle school, and special education within the College of Education. Academic advising is the best way to enroll in the appropriate courses for a chosen major and stay on the fastest graduation track. Scroll through the below information to find your next steps.
PLEASE NOTE: To best protect the health and well-being of students, staff and the university community, students are strongly encouraged to make virtual advising appointments conducted by Zoom, telephone or email. In the event that a student believes that an in-person appointment is needed, the student may request such an appointment. All in-person appointments will be conducted adhering to social distancing requirements and other public health protocols. When scheduling, please indicate in the appointment comment box which method you prefer.
New Freshmen attend a CUSTOMS orientation program. CUSTOMS is offered throughout the summer as a two-day event for those admitted in fall semesters, and a one-day event in December for those admitted in spring semesters. CUSTOMS provides students and their families an opportunity to experience all of MTSU's academic and student services programs. Licensure Pathways After Graduation
