General Hours

College of Education Advising Offices are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. year round. Please contact your assigned academic advisor if you need to meet outside of general office hours. 

Advising Appointments

Advisors are able to meet with students in-person, virtually, and through email. Generally, advising appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes; however, accommodations can be made if necessary. 

Students are responsible for scheduling advising appointments and preparing for advising sessions.

 

NOTE: If you are an incoming freshman/transfer student that HAS NOT attended CUSTOMS, our advisors are only able to provide general information to you. We will not be able to advise you regarding coursework and registration until you have been admitted to the university. During CUSTOMS, you will meet with your advisor to review your specific degree requirements. 

Email Best Practices

Always use your MTMail when contacting the university. Include your full name and M# in the email. 

Response Time

Please allow advisors up to TWO business days for an email response. If necessary, your advisor will instruct you to schedule an advising appointment.
