Glenn Littlepage, Ph.D.

Dr. Littlepage is a Professor of Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Previously, he worked as a Research Psychologist for the Department of the Army conducting applied research, program evaluation, and training. He received his Ph.D. in Social Psychology and an M.S. in Human Factors Psychology from Kansas State University. He specializes in the study of work groups, specifically in issues relating to effective group processes and group performance. He teaches undergraduate and/or graduate courses on work groups, teams in organizations, group dynamics, advanced research methods and social psychology. He is an internationally recognized expert in the study of teams. His research accomplishments include over 150 research publications, professional research presentations, chapters, and technical reports. He was awarded the MTSU Distinguished Research Award, elected as a fellow in the Society of Experimental Social Psychology, and is listed in Who's Who in America.
He has published in the leading professional journals such as Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Human Factors, Group Dynamics, Small Group Research, and the Journal of Applied Social Psychology. He contributed a chapter to the Cambridge Handbook of Meeting Science and is frequently cited in books and articles dealing with group performance. He has previously served as associate editor for Group Dynamics and has served or continues to serve on the editorial boards of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Small Group Research, and Group Dynamics. He was also co-director for the Group Division Program of the 2000 American Psychological Association (APA) convention.
Dr. Littlepage has conducted applied research and training for various organizations. These activities focused on a number of group related issues such as a group performance, effective group processes, teamwork, program evaluation, and leadership. He is knowledgeable in a variety of advanced statistical techniques.
