Dean is Senior Project Associate for the Center for Organizational and Human Resource Effectiveness (COHRE). He is the lead Senior Associate in charge of the administration, implementation, and evaluation for the Tennessee Highway Patrol's Lieutenant and Sergeant promotional process. Dean also led the THP cadet selection trooper training team.  In addition, he assists consultants in the delivery of workshops for the Tennessee Department of Human Resources, survey creation for Davidson County Sheriff's Department, the development and implementation of an assessment center for promotional processes with the Murfreesboro Police Department, as well as, conducting interviews and job analysis for a wide array of county appointees and employees.

Prior to COHRE, Dean was an Entertainment Relations Consultant for Gibson Brands Inc. He also worked for North American Sales for Century Media and as a technical business support specialist for Dell computer.

In May 2019, Dean graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelor's of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and received the Willard A. Kerr Award of Excellence. He is currently a second-year graduate student in the I-O Psychology Master's Program at MTSU; with plans to graduate in 2021
