Amanda is a Project Associate for the Center for Organizational and Human Resources Effectiveness (COHRE). Currently, she is developing an off-the-shelf assessment tool for COHRE, as well as assisting in the administration of a selection process for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Previously, she has assisted in the administration of an assessment for the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s promotional process.
Prior to working with COHRE, Amanda has spent several years in various leadership positions with Sonic Drive-In. Within these roles she developed and implemented training programs; managed budget forecasting and attainment; coached managers in employee selection, motivation, team assembly, and scheduling to maximize performance; and collaborated with ownership in the development of HR policies.
Amanda obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2015. Subsequently, she completed additional undergraduate-level Industrial and Organizational Psychology courses, as well a graduate level Regression Analysis course at Middle Tennessee State University. At present, Amanda is a graduate student at Middle Tennessee State University, pursuing a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
