Dr. Kristi Stringer, a native of Murfreesboro, holds a deep affection for her community. As an Assistant Professor of Community and Public Health at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), her career is distinguished by groundbreaking research in health related stigma. Specifically, she studies stigma related to HIV, substance use, and criminal justice involement.
