Mary Ellen Sloane's research interests are collection development, data science, data management and visualization, bibliometrics, scholarly communication, research impact, electronic resources management, web site usability, and information literacy.

Biography

Mary Ellen Sloane is a Professor of User Services in the Walker Library Middle Tennessee State University. She provides collection development support, scholarly communications advising, liaison services, and reference services. She previously held the positions of Electronic Resources Librarian and Web Services Librarian at MTSU and Reference and Instruction Librarian at Jackson State Community College.
