Biography

Dr. Bill Whitehill is an associate professor and teaches first aid and prevention and care of athletic injuries in athletic training and has taught introduction to athletic training, psychomotor skills, alternative therapies and organization and administration courses. He was the coordinator of the graduate assistant outreach program that placed certified athletic trainers in over 15 area high schools. Dr. Bill Whitehill is an associate professor and teaches first aid and prevention and care of athletic injuries in athletic training and has taught introduction to athletic training, psychomotor skills, alternative therapies and organization and administration courses. He was the coordinator of the graduate assistant outreach program that placed certified athletic trainers in over 15 area high schools. Dr. Whitehill was extremely involved in the Olympic Movement where he served as the Program Manager for Athletic Care for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia, as a massage therapist at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, and as the Pre-Competition Manager for Doping Control at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games. As a massage therapist, Dr. Whitehill organized the Holistic Institute for Health at MTSU, a school of massage therapy, which prepared students to become licensed massage therapists.
