An internship is an opportunity employers offer to students interested in gaining work experience in specific industries, and an important step to building a solid career. The Department of Global Studies and Human Geography encourages majors and minors to consider internships as a means to gain real world and build a valuable experience that makes them stronger candidates for jobs after graduation. Our department offers our students course credit for relevant internships. If you are interested to learn more about internships and getting professional experience while earning college credit please take a look at the Global Studies & Human Geography Internship Handbook.
The internship application form can be found here.
If you have any questions regarding the internship courses offered by the department, please contact Dr. Jim Chaney.
