{"id":388,"date":"2024-08-08T19:20:08","date_gmt":"2024-08-08T19:20:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/graduate\/?page_id=388"},"modified":"2026-06-12T15:19:43","modified_gmt":"2026-06-12T15:19:43","slug":"abm","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/graduate\/abm\/","title":{"rendered":"Accelerated Bachelor to Master Degree Programs (ABM)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Accelerated Bachelor\u2019s-to-Master\u2019s (ABM)<\/strong>&nbsp;program allows high-achieving undergraduate students enrolled in select majors and intending to pursue a master\u2019s degree in specific programs. The pathway allows undergraduate students an opportunity to complete select requirements for both bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees simultaneously.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting Started<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1:&nbsp;&nbsp;Make sure you meet the criteria for admission:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-compact-list\">\n<li>You have an&nbsp;<strong><em>inclusive<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;<strong><em>GPA of at least 3.25<\/em><\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have completed<strong><em>a minimum of seventy-five (75) credit hours in your undergraduate program<\/em><\/strong>(including advanced placement credits); and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have&nbsp;<strong><em>at least two full-time semesters of undergraduate coursework remaining<\/em><\/strong>at the time of application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Individual ABM pathways may have additional admission requirements (see individual programs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2:&nbsp;&nbsp;Talk to the ABM Pathway coordinator.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Complete your department\u2019s&nbsp;<strong><em>application form<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;and submit it to the department.&nbsp; Once admitted into the pathway, students must complete an ABM contract which can be found on the College of Graduate Studies website (<a href=\"http:\/\/mtsu.edu\/graduate\/forms\">mtsu.edu\/graduate\/forms<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participating ABM pathways and the ABM pathway coordinators are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><thead><tr><th>Graduate ABM Pathway<\/th><th>Undergraduate ABM Pathway<\/th><th>Coordinator<\/th><th>Email<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>M.F.A.
