Spring Break - March 6-13, 2022
The Constitutional and Political Legacy of America's Founders
Taught by Dr. John R. Vile, Honors Dean and Professor of Political Science
This study away trip includes seven class periods and seven travel days over spring break. We will meet for class from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on January 18, January 25, February 1, February 8, February 15, February 22, and March 1. We leave for the travel portion of our class on Saturday, March 6th and return on Saturday, March 13th.
This course counts for three hours interdisciplinary honors credit (UH 3500) or may be substituted for PS 4820. You may also participate in the trip without being registered for the course.
Cost will be in the range of $1,200 - $1,375 and includes coach transportation, lodging, cultural activities, excursions with guides, two lunches, and daily breakfast. NOT INCLUDED is tuition, book, and some meals. Partial scholarships are available through the Honors College. A deposit will be due on Friday, October 15, 2021.
The course and trip are limited to 25 students and you must have a 3.25 GPA to apply.
