The MT Engage Summer Institute provides faculty with an overview of MT Engage and the opportunity to align courses with the program. Topics include the value of integrative learning and high-impact teaching practices in college courses and how to design an MT Engage Signature Assignment and use the integrative thinking and reflection rubric. Faculty will also learn about ePortfolio pedagogy and the D2L ePortfolio tool. Faculty will complete an MT Engage certification form and a draft syllabus in preparation to teach an MT Engage course in the 2019-2020 academic year. Participants who attend both days of the institute, certify a course, and submit an institute evaluation will receive a $500 stipend. Lunch will be provided both days. Any tenure-track, tenured, full-time temporary, and adjunct faculty who have not participated in a previous summer institute are invited to participate.
