Request for Safe Zone Training

Only administrators, faculty members, or staff may request Safe Zone trainings be scheduled for their department. If you would like the Office of Intercultural and Diversity Affairs to schedule a voluntary Safe Zone Training specifically for members of your MTSU Department or Office you may request a training by completing the form below.

  • At this time we unfortunately do not offer trainings for small groups of less than 15 individuals. If your department is smaller than 15 and is interested in being Safe Zone trained, we recommend that members of you department individually register for one of our general/open call trainings. (To do this click Register for a Training at the left of this page) Alternatively, if your department is smaller than 15 individuals you may still complete the below form and we will attempt to pair your department with another small department for a joint training. This will likely mean additional time is needed to find a second department and schedule this.
  • For scheduling purposes, requests for trainings must be submitted at least two weeks in advance.
  • Trainings may only be requested for Monday-Thursday dates.
  • Requested training dates may not coincide with holiday, break, or exam dates.

If the IDA office is unable to provide a training during the dates/times you have listed, we will contact you directly to schedule the training once we receive the completed form.

Give us your preferred dates/times for training.
