The CLA Friends of Liberal Arts Board exists to support the College in its efforts to offer excellent teaching, conduct scholarly and creative activity, perform service for the university and community, and partner with entities outside the University, while always keeping its focus on students. The Friends members consist of alumni and friends of the College who are current and past leaders in their profession and who have a passion for Liberal Arts. 

Members are asked to make a minimum annual donation of $1,000 to the College or one of its departments. In addition, members are expected to attend two meeting per year and are elected to serve a three-year term with no limit on the number of terms any individual can serve. Terms of appointments begin on August 1 and end on July 31. Current full-time employees of MTSU are not eligible for membership.
