Come to the LT&ITC for a presentation on the modern view of accessibility in university level courses. You will learn about your role in creating course materials with accessibility in mind. The presentation will also include practical tips on minor changes that can create a large effect on your students’ apprehension of course materials. We’ll look at the broad view of Universal Design for Learning, as well as narrow accessibility tips to make your documents more usable by all students. If you’re interested in some practice, look for our hands-on workshops in February and April. Anytime you need more information, you can contact the Instructional Accessibility Specialist, Bill Burgess, at William.burgess@mtsu.edu or 615-904-8445.
