Lovell, Jerry M.

Jerry was drafted into the Vietnam War, serving in the Army as a Specialist Four in the 101st Airborne Division, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry, D Company. He was killed during the Battle of Hamburger Hill on May 18, 1969, through hostile action in the Thua Thien province, earning a Purple Heart.

Jerry is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington DC. Name inscribed at VVM Wall, Panel 24w, Line 45.
