Login to the course you are taking the proctored Activity inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Choose the proctored activity you are completing. Select <strong>Start<\/strong> <strong>Session.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. The Guardian browser should open, and you can begin taking your proctored activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Points to remember:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Scheduling<\/strong><br>MTSU uses the Record+ option. &nbsp;(<strong>There is No Cost to students!<\/strong>) You do not need to schedule a time to take your proctored activity.&nbsp; You must take the exam in the time frame your instructor has set for the activity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.proctoru.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/24721724814861-How-to-Test-Your-Equipment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Test Your Equipment<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;to make sure your hardware is compatible with ProctorU.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Find an Acceptable Space to Take Your Exam<\/strong><br>The environment needs to be quiet, well-lit, and away from other people. The workspace area needs to be free of all materials other than&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.proctoru.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/115011621827-What-do-I-need-to-have-for-my-exam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Materials Allowed During Your Exam<\/strong><\/a>. Using a hard surface for a workspace is required; beds or couches are not permitted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Become Familiar with Materials Required for Your Exam<\/strong><br>Review your course syllabus and review the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.proctoru.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/115011621827-What-do-I-need-to-have-for-my-exam\"><strong>List of Required Materials<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;you will need to begin your exam.
