APRIL 14, 2021: Student Union COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Reopens Thursday

We are pleased to share that the “Don’t Miss Your Shot” COVID-19 vaccine clinic sponsored by MTSU Health Services will reopen Thursday, April 15, at the Student Union location.  In accordance with the recent recommendation by the CDC to pause use of Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine formulations, upcoming vaccine clinics offered by MTSU Health Services will now administer the Moderna vaccine

Any appointment previously made for Thursday (April 15) or later remains unchanged, and those individuals should arrive at the date and time originally scheduled.  Individuals who had appointments set for Tuesday (April 13) or today (April 14) should revisit https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/VaccinationClinic2@mtsu.edu/bookings/ to make a new appointment.

Appointment slots remain available, and appointments can be made through the link above using your pipeline user name and password. Please bring a photo ID to your appointment.

Please note that the Moderna vaccine requires a booster shot 28 to 42 days after your initial dose. The second dose may be scheduled with Health Services or you can use https://vaccinefinder.org/ to locate other vaccine providers in communities around the country. These options will be discussed with you at your appointment.

Convenient parking is available in the Ezell Lot pictured here

The vaccine clinic will move back to the Rec Center location beginning April 19; however, extended hours will once again be offered on Tuesday, April 20, until 5:30 p.m. While vaccination is not a current requirement, we encourage students to be vaccinated in an effort to allow for more in-person opportunities in the fall semester.

We apologize for any inconvenience the postponement may have caused, and we trust in your understanding that these decisions were made in an effort to put the safety of our campus community above all else.

Be Well,
Richard Chapman
