{"id":2499,"date":"2025-08-25T20:39:00","date_gmt":"2025-08-25T20:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/president\/?p=2499"},"modified":"2026-04-22T09:30:37","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T14:30:37","slug":"fall-2025-mtsu-employee-charitable-giving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/president\/fall-2025-mtsu-employee-charitable-giving\/","title":{"rendered":"Fall 2025 MTSU Employee Charitable Giving"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 20px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div>\n<p>MTSU\u2019s annual Charitable Giving Campaign is a monthlong effort by our faculty and staff to support worthy causes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign is fueled largely by monthly payroll deductions from employees over the next year but also allows one-time, lump-sum gifts at the donor\u2019s discretion. MTSU employees showed strong support for charitable giving in 2024, setting a record with more than $161,000 in pledges. This incredible amount reveals the caring nature of our faculty and staff and reflects a collective acknowledgment that it\u2019s important to give back to this great community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the upcoming Oct. 1\u2013Nov. 1 campaign, we hope to break last year\u2019s record giving amount and, in fact, to reach $165,000 in giving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants can designate gifts to organizations from a list of 10 independent charities and three federated groups of charities, including Community Health Charities, Community Shares, and local United Way organizations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This campus wide effort shows what it really means to be True Blue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MTSU\u2019s annual Charitable Giving Campaign is a monthlong effort by our faculty and staff to support worthy causes.
