James E. Walker Library Dean Search
Middle Tennessee State University invites applications and nominations for a creative and dynamic dean to lead the institution’s James E. Walker Library. Located 35 miles south of Nashville in historic Murfreesboro, Tennessee, one of the largest and fastest growing cities in the state, MTSU currently enrolls more than 21,000 students. The Dean leads and promotes excellence among the library’s faculty and staff, enhances the quality of library programs and services, evidences a strong commitment to its constituencies, and advocates for the library on campus, locally, regionally, and nationally. The Dean reports to the University Provost and serves on the University Deans’ Cabinet.
