Online and Distance Learning at MTSU

University College manages all of the online and distance learning programs offered by MTSU to meet the unique needs of students whose access to higher education is often limited by family, work, and other responsibilities by:

  • removing barriers of time, place, and tradition;
  • supporting faculty who deliver course content and degree programs in innovative ways; and
  • fostering a student-centered learning environment to promote the success of nontraditional students.

Through the collaboration of many campus resources, we are able to better serve nontraditional and adult learners, by offering a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs, with the option of taking courses online, on-campus or a combination of both. We also provide helpful resources and tools for students and faculty to ensure academic success.
